I couldn't help but smile with the irony of the situation. He was smiling too, knowing that he had not repaid my sweetness with his comments.
"I was just reading about a woman's long hair being her glory!"
This made him smile wider and added a "something" to his voice. "I like your hair, it is pretty, it just stinks." There that "something" was. It was sarcasm and I should have expected it coming from my husband.
